Thank you for sending a complimentary glass file for review. Apologies for not reviewing sooner as medical situation prevented me from doing so. I love glass files and have used many. I liked the test file very much especially the double sided textures for filing and smoothing. I found it easy to detect which side was which. I alternated using it and your emery boards which I absolutely love and found that I like both pretty much on par. I’ve purchased 4 of the diamonds files and can’t get them to work at all for me and I have thin nails. There’s little grit that I can detect and I’ve especially good tactile sensitivity.

Love this stuff, very moisturizing but doesn’t leave your hands too greasy. Light, pleasant scent.

Very thin, very effective

I have been using the glass file for over a month now. I have other glass files but, honestly I much prefer this one due to the size, shape and finish. I have kept in pocketbook and find it to be durable - no chipping or other damage observable.
I do notice a difference in surfaces and personally prefer the finer side. It took a bit to get accustomed to the unique feel and sound of it on nails initially. I also use Anna's diamond file and have used side by side to compare the feel.
I would purchase this over other glass files definitely.
Overall a nicely designed piece of equipment.
If I had to choose just one, I would have to go with the diamond file though as I prefer the thinness when shaping my nails as well as the 'sound/feel' on my nails.
I certainly think both have a place in my kit and am happy to have had chance to test them out.
(and yes, I am still using it!)

I've used jojoba oil for years, but I much I prefer it in salve form instead of oil. Plus, I know that if Anna made it, it's a quality product.

Smooth and light salve is easy to use and feels lux. Added to my Anna inspired nail care routine. Love the slight twist container . Easy to open and close. So many other small pots of salves have to be pried off.

Really appreciate Anna’s advice and videos, she’s the best. I have strong natural nails with ridges but wanted to step it up a bit and tried the skincare for nail care, clear polish wearing a lab coat options and my strong nails became weak. Back to warm oil soaks, hydrating ointment for the nail fold and gentle correction, no polish. Will save the expensive clear French nail care for special occasions, it does look nice on. I’ve never been a huge fan of glass files mostly due to the thickness of them since I keep my nails short. I absolutely love the thin metal files and now I use the glass file on the tips to smooth them and it does an excellent job! The quality is excellent and it looks like it will last a very long time.

I am so happy I was able to get this file to try out. I prefer the finer side of the file, and it doesn’t seem to unpleasant or difficult to control. I have continued to use it because I do like it. I think it will be a long lasting file. I would be willing to spend $8 to purchase it.

I am following the guidance and advice from Anna’s nail assessment and so glad I decided to get a personal assessment from her. I would recommend this for anyone.

I'm very happy with all the products in the kit. The diamond file and the sponge are great as is the added trial glass file. Each has its own purpose. The three stainless steel items are of high quality and do the job. The wood sticks are a good size and work without damage. Will purchase from Anna again.

I’m a newbie to manicures after years of not really doing any kind of nail care. I was tired of what I thought were hangnails, and I found Anna’s YouTube videos which have been extremely helpful and informative.

I got Anna’s nail kit and I’ve been trying to do home manicures for a couple of months now. Turned out it was hardened skin, not hangnails, and Anna’s salve has been working wonders!

I do the manicures every couple of weeks. I tried the glass file and it seemed comparable to the emery boards that came in the kit. The biggest issue I found was that it was too thick so I couldn’t get it underneath the edges on the sides of my nails. Maybe I’m using it wrong? I went back to the emery board for the sides and also when I needed to remove length since the glass file wasn’t as coarse so it took longer for me. I ended up using the glass file to finish up after the emery board - it seems like a smoother finish. I’m still learning, so I don’t really understand what the different types of nail files are for… like what even is a diamond file lol? With my very non-expert review, the glass file seems like a good file.

I have been using the thin diamond nail file for a few weeks now and I have to say it is the best nail file I have ever used. It is so much better than a glass nail file. It is the perfect length and I love how thin it is. It is very gentle on my natural nails. No splitting or chipping after filing my nails now. It is the only nail file I will be using from now on.
