Anna's Professional Nail Assessment

If you are having issues with your nails, you don't know what's going on with them or where to start, you can find a plethora of resources here.

But, if you would rather receive specific advice regarding your particular issue you are at the right place.

The nail assessment I provide includes 15-20 min long video where you will see me go over the information you have provided and commenting on the pictures you have sent me. I will also send you links to the products I recommend (if applicable).

Once your payment is completed you will automatically receive a confirmation email from this online store. 
Please reply to the confirmation email with the answers to the following questions and 4 high-resolution photos, exactly as I have provided here. Please don't send more images.
If you are inquiring about your toenails 2 photos are sufficient. 

Please only purchase this service once you have all the info and pictures ready. Remember to check your spam folder for the confirmation email.

Please note that my advice is strictly cosmetic. I can’t diagnose any nail/skin diseases nor prescribe or suggest any medical treatments.

In the reply email please include answers to the following questions 

• What has been your nail care routine for the last 6 months 
• Do you buff your nails? How often? When was the last time you buffed?
• Do you cut the skin around your nails?
• WHEN was the last time you wore any gel/acrylic/gel polish on your nails (if applicable)
• Do your nails FEEL hard & brittle or soft & bendy? Or normal, meaning somewhere in between.

HOW TO TAKE PHOTOS:

1. REMOVE your nail polish or WIPE the nails with PURE ACETONE or 96-99% IPA (ALCOHOL)
2. Use a white background (for example a towel)
3. Direct lighting in front of the nails (desk lamp) close to the nails. Make sure you can see a light bouncing off the nails. Bright indoor light is not enough!
4. Wipe the camera lens with a soft cloth.
5. Place your nails in the middle of the screen approximately 6 inches/15 cm away from the phone
6. Tap the area you want the camera to focus on (nails)
7. Holding the phone still take a picture 
8. Repeat with other nails. 
9. Check the quality before you send it. Zoom in and see if the images are sharp. The images have to be "actual size" (high resolution, large file). Usually, it is better to attach them as attachments rather than send them as pictures. Do not edit or crop them.
10. Smartphones are more than able to take good images but iPads are not.

To avoid future confusion and chargebacks, I can't respond to different emails, etc. The email I send the video to has to match the email on the order.
